The MOU signifies Namforce’s deliberate efforts to ensure that Namibians are covered while on duty — ensuring the protection and safekeeping of CSC employees. Shaanika focused on the importance of collaboration as well as the affordability and flexibility of its employee benefits.
“This collaboration between Namforce Life Insurance and the Correctional Service Club represents a profound commitment to our client’s well-being, security, and future. It underscores the critical importance of comprehensive financial protection and support in times of need.” — Martin Shaanika, Managing Director, Namforce
He further noted that as the youngest and only Namibian-owned insurance company, the trust shown by CSC reflects confidence in their service. “Our benefits are typically payable within 48 hours, ensuring swift financial support when it is most needed.”
Commissioner-General Raphael T Hamunyela expressed his appreciation for Namforce’s pro-active and fast commitment to CSC needs, and for the customised flexibility of its offerings to instil financial education and awareness.
“This event marks our commitment to address the needs of our employees to enhance their well-being. It ensures that our officers and their families are protected and reduces the financial burdens during difficult times.” — Commissioner-General Raphael T Hamunyela
SNR Chief Correctional Officer Gideon S Shikeshu added: “Apart from it being affordable on the market, it also has flexibility for us to choose our option of preference. It is tailored to the needs of Namibians — there is no long wait for the benefits to be made available.”
Namforce continues to thank media houses for instilling financial education in consumers as the economy continues to face periods of uncertainty.
