This website is operated by Namforce Life Insurance Ltd, a Namibian long-term insurer regulated by the Namibia Financial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA). By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
The Information Here Is General
Everything published on this site is general information about our products and about financial matters. It is not financial, legal or tax advice, and it does not take your personal circumstances into account. Whether a particular product suits you depends on your needs, your obligations and your budget. Speak to one of our advisers, or to an adviser of your own choosing, before you decide.
Your Policy Document Governs Your Cover
Nothing on this website forms part of any contract of insurance. What you are covered for, what is excluded, what you must pay and what we must pay is set out in your policy schedule and policy terms. Where anything on this site differs from those documents, the policy documents apply.
No Offer of Cover
Information about our products is an invitation for you to approach us, not an offer of cover. Cover begins only once we have accepted your application in writing and the first premium has been received. Any quotation shown here or generated from a form on this site is an estimate based on what you told us, and it may change once we have underwritten the application.
Forms and the Information You Send Us
When you complete a form on this site, what you type into it is sent to us by email so that we can respond. Please do not send sensitive information such as identity numbers or banking details through this website. If we need those details we will ask you for them through a secure channel. How we handle what you do send is set out in our Privacy & Fraud Policy.
You agree that what you submit is true and complete as far as you know. Giving us false or incomplete information on an application may render a policy void, as explained in our Privacy & Fraud Policy.
Availability
We aim to keep this site available and its content current, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that every page is up to date at every moment. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site without notice. Premiums, benefits, product features and contact details change from time to time, and the version held by Namforce is the correct one.
Our Content
The text, images, logos and design of this site belong to Namforce Life Insurance Ltd or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own personal or internal business use. You may not copy our content for commercial purposes, republish it as your own, or use the Namforce name or logo without our written permission.
Photographs of clients, staff and events are published with the consent of the people shown.
Links to Other Sites
Some pages link to websites we do not control, including the service we use to publish our newsletters. We provide those links for convenience. We are not responsible for the content of those sites or for how they handle your information, and a link is not an endorsement.
Beware of Impersonation
Our only website is www.namforce.com.na and our only general email address is info@namforce.com.na. We will never ask you to pay a premium into a personal bank account, and we will never ask for your banking password or a one-time PIN. If you receive a message that claims to be from Namforce and something about it feels wrong, contact us on the number below before you act on it, and report it to us so that we can warn others.
Our Responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site or from reliance on general information published on it. Nothing in these terms limits our obligations to you under a policy we have issued, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If You Are Unhappy
If something about our service has gone wrong, our Complaints Procedure sets out how to raise it with us and how to escalate the matter to NAMFISA if you remain dissatisfied.
Changes to These Terms
We review these terms from time to time and will publish any changes on this page. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Namibia, and the Namibian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
